Thursday, 14th September we celebrate the merge between IAB Belgium, BDMA and STIMA. A successful professional lifecycle contains always transitions between death and birth for higher purposes. BAM is the new opportunity for the industry to meet the concerns of our privileged partner, the consumer, or better said the individual.
We are all evolving as an interface between a network of devices. Today we are all digital by default from morning to evening, in our daily customer journey.
Yes, dear reader, according to research 70 % of you are already reading and sending emails, sms’s, watsapps before brushing your teeth. Add the pictures and it can be stated: “bed relations are not any more what they were”. Then comes the daily expected visit to the letterbox. Yes: “paper and digital, it takes two to tango”. This is the start of a multiscreen/device day until the return to bed. With tablets and smartphones tuning themselves in “sleep modus” after you felt asleep.
The marketer’s rules evolve from” To deliver the right message,at the right time to the right person at the right place” to a definition where “place” should be replaced by “device”.
Devices, even cars are data driven nowadays. With the consumer in the driver’s sit, marketing goes from personalization to personification, powered by decision-making where computer applications, guided by artificial intelligence and algorithms determine information flows that up till now were exclusively handled by humans.
Therefore IAB Belgium, BDMA and STIMA have joined forces to become stronger than ever as BAM, the Belgian Association of Marketing uniting all marketing minded professionals with a common mission: create added value and meaningful relationships with your customers in a sustainable way. See more on www.marketing.be .
Together with all current members of BDMA, IAB Belgium and STIMA, you can get a first flavor of this while celebrating the official launch of the Belgian Association of Marketing at the end of the event The Rentree of Marketing. Networking, learning, drinks & food will be the key words of this evening !
